DESIGN RESPONSE: To remedy these conditions through an ambitious public/private partnership that will redesign the light rail platform and create a neighborhood where pride of ownership and community celebration prevail.

AMAA led an interdisciplinary team that worked closely with public agencies in the City of Gresham to develop a master plan for this 6 acre mixed-use development that includes a 12,000 sf plaza and streetscape design. The diverse stakeholders on the project included the City Council, Redevelopment Agency, Design Commission, neighborhood groups and business representatives. The project included extensive public process, community workshops and open houses, stakeholder charrettes and design review presentations. The team included the following firms and subcontractors: David Evans and Associates, Ziba Design, Waterleaf Architecture, and Greenworks Landscape Architecture.
