CLIENT GOAL: Create a warm and non-institutional setting for this critical care unit while achieving its practical and technological requirements.

DESIGN RESPONSE: Warm colors, the generous use of wood and furnishings that are residential in character set a comforting tone for the waiting rooms in this critical care unit. Patient areas address clinical needs while using color and pattern for visual interest.
