CLIENT GOAL: Develop a mixed-use retail and office project that will serve as a catalyst to revitalize this inner-city Portland neighborhood.

DESIGN RESPONSE: Vanport Square includes street level retail that creates an active pedestrian environment with parking behind the building. A plaza lined with retail and with a fountain as its centerpiece provides a gathering place for neighbors. The office uses are behind and above the retail. Vanport Square has been awarded LEED GOLD CS (Core Shell).
